MariGold Foods makes fresh food! And, just like other fresh (real) foods, our bars will ferment if not handled properly.
MariGold protein bars have limited room-temperature shelf life and require refrigeration for extended storage. Since refrigerator temperatures can vary widely, we recommend freezing for best long-term storage.
Our “The Primal” Bars have a room temperature shelf life of 6 days. Our other bars have a room temperature shelf life of 12 days. All of our bars can be refrigerated for a month (or longer, depending on your ‘fridge) or frozen for up to a year.
We’ll do our absolute best to get our products to you as quickly as possible. We make the “upgrade to extra ice” option available to help keep your bars fresh during shipment. We recommend you take advantage of this upgrade if you live in a warm climate, or live in a rural area with slow mail delivery.
By purchasing our fresh bars, you recognize that you have the responsibility to:
- Track your package
- Bring inside and place in the refrigeration or freezer upon receipt.
- Enjoy your bars profusely knowing you’re eating a freshly prepared product made from only the best ingredients!
Shipping Time – Normally orders are shipped within 1-5 days. Please note that we always take delivery times into consideration before shipping, and will mail so that you get your order in the shortest time possible. Holidays and/or special circumstances may cause delays in shipping.
We ship via USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail. The normal transit time for this service is 2-3 days, but can be anywhere from 1-5 days, depending upon your zip code. You will receive an email with a tracking number when your order ships. You can also view this info when you log into your account. You are responsible to track your order and see that your package is brought inside when it’s delivered.
We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
Under certain circumstances we can ship via UPS. This requires the order be shipped to an address considered “commercial” by UPS.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.
To ensure you receive your order in fresh condition, MariGold Foods sells and ships only to US addresses, and WE WILL REFUND ANY ORDER REQUESTED TO BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE U.S..
Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will be corrected immediately. Simply contact us via our contact page.
Also, we will gladly replace products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase.
