It’s a Mexican Hot Chocolate Protein Shake…you’re not going to want to miss this one!
What’s the difference between Mexican chocolate and regular? At its most basic, Mexican chocolate is made from coarsely ground cacao and combines spices such as cinnamon to create a complex flavor.
Often, it will even feature chili varieties. This recipe includes a pinch of cayenne, which gives it the “hot” in the title.

- ½ cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- ⅓ cup Water
- 1 cup Ice
- 2 tsp Cacao Powder
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
- 1 scoop MariGold Rich Chocolate Malt Whey Isolate Protein Powder

- Sugar-free chocolate syrup (optional)
- Mix all ingredients and blend.
- Top with a pinch of cinnamon and chocolate syrup (optional).
